Who I work with

Adults

I have experience working with adults (18+) of all ages from a variety of backgrounds, religions and circumstances. I can offer therapy to support you to explore whatever is going on in your life. I am happy to have a chat to see if I am the right counsellor for you at this time.

LGBTQ+ Folk

I have most experience working with LGBTQ+ folk who wish to meet a counsellor where those aspects of their identity will not be unnecessarily questioned or looked at, but can be spoken about respectfully and safely.

I have an understanding of many of the issues LGBTQ+ folks may face. I have worked with individuals around gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. This is both on a personal level and navigating these aspects of identity in relationship with others (e.g. family, friends and colleagues) and other parts of their identity (e.g. faith).

Disability

I have a deep understanding of both the physical and mental health impacts of being disabled, especially in a world created by and for ‘able-bodied’ people. Not all disabilities are visible and not everyone with a difference wishes to identify as disabled. I aim to create a safe and accesible therapy space for everyone.

Trans and enby clients find my acceptance and awareness of trans issues key to being able to focus on what they need in therapy.
